Galaxy A40 has a global score of 79.6, which is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge's 78.1 score. The Galaxy A40 is a way newer and lighter phone than the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, but it is a little bit thicker. Both of these phones have Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy A40 has the older 11 version while Samsung Galaxy S7 edge has Android 8.0 Oreo.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge features a bit better display than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2560px resolution and a bit higher pixel density. Samsung Galaxy A40 counts with a superior memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy S7 edge, because it has a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 512 GB and 64 GB internal storage capacity.
