Galaxy S7 edge has an overall score of 78.1, which is just a bit better than Galaxy A5 (2017)'s score of 75.8. Galaxy S7 edge's design is just a bit lighter and just a little bit thinner than Galaxy A5 (2017), despite of the fact that it was released just 10 months before. The Galaxy A5 (2017) and Galaxy S7 edge count with really similar CPUs, because although the Galaxy A5 (2017) has a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a larger number of cores (although slower).

The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge counts with a little bit better display than Galaxy A5 (2017), because it has a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560px, a little bigger screen and a better screen pixels density. Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) features a little bit more memory to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) also has a SD card slot that admits up to 256 GB.

The Galaxy S7 edge has better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), because it has 3600mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.
