Comparison review
The Galaxy S7 edge is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, having a global score of 78.1 against 76.3. Even being the best in this comparison, the Galaxy S7 edge construction is noticeably heavier and thicker than Samsung Galaxy Alpha. Both devices in our current comparison use Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy S7 edge has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version and Samsung Galaxy Alpha has Android 4.4.4 version.
Galaxy S7 edge has a bit sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has a lot better pixel density, a lot higher 1440 x 2560px resolution and a bigger display. The Samsung Galaxy Alpha counts with a little better processing power than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Alpha also counts with an additional graphics processor.
Galaxy S7 edge features a much better storage for games and applications than Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy S7 edge also has an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 200 GB. Samsung Galaxy S7 edge counts with a bit better camera than Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same video frame rate, the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same resolution back camera, the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge also has a way bigger diafragm aperture for better captures and videos in low light situations.
