Comparison review
Galaxy S7 edge has a global score of 78.1, which is just a bit better than Galaxy J8's general score of 76.7. Both of these phones include Android operating system, but Galaxy S7 edge has 8.0 Oreo version while Galaxy J8 has Android 10 version, providing you a couple nice extra features. Galaxy S7 edge is an older phone than Galaxy J8, but Samsung managed to make it somewhat lighter and a bit thinner anyway.
Samsung Galaxy S7 edge features a more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy J8, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher 1440 x 2560 resolution and a much higher display pixel density. The Galaxy J8 features a very superior memory capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy S7 edge, because it has a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB and 64 GB internal memory.
Samsung Galaxy S7 edge features just a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy J8, although it has a lower number of cores (although faster), they both have 4 GB of RAM. Galaxy S7 edge features a bit longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy J8, because it has a 3 percent larger battery size. The Galaxy S7 edge takes a little bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy J8, because although it has a back facing camera with much less megapixels, and they both have a same size diafragm aperture, the Galaxy S7 edge also counts with a way better 3840x2160 video quality and a larger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
