Galaxy Note Fan Edition has an overall score of 80.4, which is just a bit better than Galaxy S7 edge's score of 78.1. The Galaxy Note Fan Edition construction is newer, but just a little heavier and just a little thicker than Galaxy S7 edge. Galaxy Note Fan Edition counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy S7 edge, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Galaxy Note Fan Edition also has a larger number of cores.
Galaxy Note Fan Edition has a screen that's just as good as the Galaxy S7 edge one, because although the Galaxy Note Fan Edition has a just a bit lower screen density, and they both have the same resolution of 1440 x 2560px, it also counts with a bit larger screen. Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition features a very superior memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy S7 edge, because it has 64 GB internal storage capacity and a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge features a bit better battery lifetime than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because it has a 3600mAh battery capacity. Galaxy S7 edge captures clearer pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition. Both have a same size diafragm aperture, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, a 0.4 inches camera sensor, a same resolution camera and the same video frame rates.

If you want to save a few dollars, you can get Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, and give up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your budget.
