Comparison review

Galaxy Note8 has a global score of 83, which is slightly better than the Galaxy S7 edge's general score of 78.1. The Galaxy Note8 is a newer device than Galaxy S7 edge, but it's somewhat heavier and thicker. Both phones in our current comparison come with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Note8 has 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy S7 edge has Android 8.0 Oreo, offering some extra features and optimized performance.

Galaxy Note8 features a little bit better processing power than Galaxy S7 edge, because it has a greater amount of RAM memory and a higher number of faster cores. Galaxy Note8 has a little sharper display than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a quite inferior pixels number in each inch of display, it also counts with a quite bigger screen and a quite better resolution of 1440 x 2960.

Samsung Galaxy Note8 and Galaxy S7 edge count with incredibly similar cameras, and although the Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a smaller camera sensor providing a lower image quality, they both have a F1.7 aperture, the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a same resolution back facing camera.

Galaxy Note8 has a much bigger storage for applications and games than Galaxy S7 edge, because it has a SD extension slot that holds up to 256 GB and more internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge counts with just a bit better battery life than Galaxy Note8, because it has a 9 percent greater battery capacity.

The Galaxy Note8 costs more money than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
