The Galaxy S22 Ultra has an overall score of 95.4, which is a lot better than the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge's general score of 78.1. These phones come with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy S22 Ultra has an older 13 version and Samsung Galaxy S7 edge has Android 8.0 Oreo. The Galaxy S22 Ultra construction is newer, but thicker and notably heavier than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge.
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra features a more vivid screen than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a quite worse display pixels density, it also counts with a little bit higher 1440 x 3088px resolution and a larger screen. The Galaxy S22 Ultra features more memory to store more games and applications than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with more internal storage.
The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra features just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy S7 edge, because it has 4 GB more RAM and 4 more cores. Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra features a much better battery performance than Galaxy S7 edge, because it has a 5000mAh battery size instead of 3600mAh. Galaxy S22 Ultra has a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for capturing pictures or video in low light environments, it also counts with a way better video quality, a way larger sensor taking much higher quality videos and photographs and a way higher 108 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera.
Although Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy S7 edge, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy S7 edge. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy the Galaxy S7 edge, letting go a couple features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
