Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 has a score of 83.5, which is a bit better than the Galaxy S7 edge's score of 78.1. Both of these phones use Android operating system, but Galaxy S6 has 5.0 version and Galaxy S7 edge has Android 8.0 Oreo version. Galaxy S6's body is somewhat lighter and a bit thinner than Galaxy S7 edge, despite of the fact that it was released just 11 months before.
Samsung Galaxy S6 features a much better looking screen than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have the same exact resolution of 2560 x 1440px, the Samsung Galaxy S6 also counts with a just a bit higher screen density. The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge counts with a much greater storage to store more games and applications than Galaxy S6, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge also has an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 200 GB.
Galaxy S6 features a more powerful processing unit than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has 1 GB less RAM memory, it also counts with a larger number of cores , a 64 bits processing unit and an extra graphics processor. The Galaxy S7 edge has a really longer battery performance than Galaxy S6, because it has 3600mAh of battery capacity against 2550mAh.
Galaxy S6 features just a bit better camera than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a tinier back camera sensor capturing worse quality photos and videos and a smaller diafragm aperture which is worse for low-light photography, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same video resolution, the Galaxy S6 also counts with a lot more MP camera in the back.
Samsung Galaxy S6 not only is the best phones in our comparison, but it's also very cheap compared to the other ones, making it a great choice.
