Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S6 Active is a bit better than Galaxy S7 edge, getting a score of 80.9 against 78.1. Samsung Galaxy S6 Active's body is somewhat thicker but incredibly lighter than Galaxy S7 edge. Both of these devices work with Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy S6 Active has the previous 5.0 version and Galaxy S7 edge has Android 8.0 Oreo version.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Active counts with a more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a larger number of cores , a 64-bit processor and an extra GPU. The Galaxy S6 Active counts with a better screen than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have the same 2560 x 1440px resolution, the Galaxy S6 Active also counts with a bit higher number of pixels per inch in the screen.
Galaxy S7 edge takes much clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy S6 Active, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a way worse resolution back facing camera, it also counts with a larger back camera sensor capturing higher quality photographs and videos and a larger aperture for better low-light photography and videos.
Galaxy S7 edge features a much greater storage to install games and applications than Galaxy S6 Active. Both have the same 32 GB internal memory. Galaxy S7 edge counts with just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Galaxy S6 Active, because it has a 3 percent more battery capacity.
Despite of being the best phone in our comparison, Galaxy S6 Active is also very cheap compared to the other ones, making buying this phone an easy decision.
