Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 Edge has a score of 85.7, which is a bit better than Galaxy S7 edge's 78.1 global score. Despite of the fact that Galaxy S6 Edge is older than Galaxy S7 edge, it's construction is somewhat lighter and just a little thinner. Both phones in our current comparison include Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy S6 Edge has 5.0 version while Galaxy S7 edge has Android 8.0 Oreo.
The Galaxy S6 Edge features a quite superior processing power than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has less RAM, it also counts with more cores , a 64-bits processing unit and an extra GPU. Galaxy S6 Edge has a better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a bit smaller display, and they both have an equal resolution of 2560 x 1440px, the Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a just a bit greater number of pixels in each display inch.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a greater storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory. The Galaxy S7 edge counts with a way better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has 3600mAh of battery capacity against 2600mAh.
Galaxy S7 edge shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 video resolution and a camera with a much lower resolution, it also counts with a larger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better photos in low-light environments.
Although Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, else you can save some dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, resigning some specs and features.
