Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a score of 80.1, which is a bit better than Galaxy S7 edge's overall score of 78.1. Even though Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro is newer than Galaxy S7 edge, it is a lot heavier and a lot thicker. These devices include the same Android 8.0 Oreo operating system, so they should provide the user identical OS features.

Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with a little faster CPU than Galaxy S7 edge, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro also has a greater number of cores (and they are faster). The Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a slightly better looking display than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels, the Galaxy XCover FieldPro also counts with a little greater pixel density.

Samsung Galaxy S7 edge features a very superior camera than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for low light captures and videos, and they both have a camera in the back with a 12 megapixels resolution, the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge also counts with a way better video resolution and a larger back-facing camera sensor providing a higher image quality.

Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro features a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S7 edge, because it has 32 GB more internal storage capacity and a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 512 GB. The Galaxy XCover FieldPro has longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because it has a 25 percent more battery capacity.

Although Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy S7 edge, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy S7 edge. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Galaxy XCover FieldPro, otherwise you can save some money and get the Galaxy S7 edge, letting go a couple specs and features.
