Comparison review

Xperia 10 II is a bit better than Galaxy S7 edge, getting a score of 78.5 against 78.1. Both of these phones have Android OS, but the Xperia 10 II has older 10 version while Galaxy S7 edge has Android 8.0 Oreo version. Even though the Xperia 10 II is a little thicker than Galaxy S7 edge, it's a little lighter and newer.

Xperia 10 II has just a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Xperia 10 II also has 4 more processing cores. The Galaxy S7 edge has a bit more vivid screen than Xperia 10 II, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a bit greater pixels number per inch of display and a quite better 1440 x 2560 resolution.

Samsung Galaxy S7 edge takes slightly better photos and videos than Xperia 10 II, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the same video frame rate and the same resolution back-facing camera, the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge also has a larger diafragm aperture to capture better low light photos and videos and a bigger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.

Sony Xperia 10 II counts with a much bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy S7 edge, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 1000 GB and 128 GB internal memory. The Xperia 10 II's battery life is very similar to the battery lifetime in Samsung Galaxy S7 edge.
