The Xperia 5 II has an overall score of 87.2, which is better than the Galaxy S7 edge's 78.1 global score. The Xperia 5 II is a noticeably newer phone than Galaxy S7 edge, but it is a bit heavier and a little thicker. The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge features a bit more vivid display than Sony Xperia 5 II, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a quite better resolution of 1440 x 2560px and a bit greater amount of pixels per inch of display.
The Xperia 5 II features a way bigger storage to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because it has 96 GB more internal storage and a SD card slot that holds up to 1000 GB. The Xperia 5 II features just a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because it has a greater number of faster cores and 4 GB more RAM memory.
The Xperia 5 II takes a bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy S7 edge, and although they both have a same size diafragm aperture, the same video quality and a back camera with a 12 mega pixels resolution, the Xperia 5 II also has a way bigger back camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and faster video frame rate.
