Comparison review

The Galaxy S7 edge is a bit better than the Xperia Z5, with a overall score of 78.1 against 77.6. Although it's the best phone in this review, the Galaxy S7 edge is an a little bit thicker and just a little heavier phone than Xperia Z5. Both devices in our current comparison include Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy S7 edge has 8.0 Oreo version while Xperia Z5 has Android 5.1, so it gives you some nice extra features.

The Sony Xperia Z5 features a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with an additional graphics processing unit and 4 more CPU cores. Xperia Z5 counts with a slightly better screen than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, although it has a just a little less pixels per inch of screen, a way lower 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and a quite smaller screen.

The Sony Xperia Z5 captures a little bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for low light photos and videos, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Sony Xperia Z5 also counts with a larger back camera sensor taking better quality photographs and a way more mega-pixels back camera.

Sony Xperia Z5's storage for applications, games, photos and videos is just as good as Galaxy S7 edge's one, both of them have a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 200 GB and exactly the same internal memory. Samsung Galaxy S7 edge counts with longer battery performance than Xperia Z5, because it has a 3600mAh battery capacity.

Despite of being the best phone between the ones we are comparing, the Galaxy S7 edge is also by far the cheapest one.
