Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S7 edge is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, having a overall score of 78.1 against 77.5. The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge construction has the same thickness than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, but it is way lighter. Galaxy S7 edge counts with a much better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2560 resolution and a much greater quantity of pixels per display inch.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a much bigger memory to install applications and games than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a slot for an external memory card that holds 72 GB smaller, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage capacity. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has more cpu cores.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a way better battery performance than Galaxy S7 edge, because it has a 5300mAh battery capacity against 3600mAh. Galaxy S7 edge features a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have a same resolution back-facing camera, the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video resolution, the Galaxy S7 edge also has a larger camera sensor taking higher quality photos and a lot larger camera aperture.
Although Galaxy S7 edge is a better device, it costs a bit more money than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Mi Max 2. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, giving up a couple features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
