Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, getting a overall score of 78.1 against 75.7. The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge construction is just a little thinner and lighter than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, despite of the fact that it was released 7 years before. Both of these phones have Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge has 8.0 Oreo version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has Android 12, counting with some nice extra features and better performance.
The Galaxy S7 edge counts with an extremely better CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, although it has a lower number of cores and 2 GB lesser RAM. Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro counts with a bit better looking display than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a little lower resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a much lower pixel amount per inch of screen, it also counts with a bigger screen.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has a bigger storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has a much better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro takes way better photos and videos than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not good for capturing images and/or video in low light environments, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro also counts with a lot bigger sensor and a camera with a lot higher resolution.
