Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S7 edge has a score of 78.1, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro's global score of 75.8. Samsung Galaxy S7 edge is an older cellphone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, but Samsung was able to build it somewhat lighter and a little bit thinner anyway. Both of these devices come with the same Android 8.0 Oreo OS (operating system), so both should provide the user very similar OS features.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro's CPU is very similar to Samsung Galaxy S7 edge's processing unit, although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro also has a higher amount of RAM memory and more processing cores (but slower). The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge counts with a bit sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560px and a higher screen density.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro features more storage to install applications and games than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 128 GB against 200 GB, it also counts with 32 GB more internal memory capacity. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro counts with a bit superior battery life than Galaxy S7 edge, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
Samsung Galaxy S7 edge shoots clearer photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have a back facing camera with a 12 MP, the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge also has a lot bigger diafragm aperture to capture better captures and videos in low-light environments and a way better video quality.
