Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 is slightly better than the Galaxy S7 edge, getting a general score of 80.3 against 78.1. Although Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 is newer than Galaxy S7 edge, it's somewhat heavier and just a little thicker. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 features a little faster CPU than Galaxy S7 edge, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 also has 4 more cores.
The Galaxy S7 edge has just a bit better display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a greater number of pixels per inch in the display and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560px. Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 has a much better storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy S7 edge, because it has more internal storage and an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 shoots much better videos and photos than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for low light captures, and they both have the same video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 also counts with a camera with a much higher 48 megapixels resolution, higher 120 fps video frame rate and a bigger back-facing camera sensor which provides a better image and video quality.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 has a bit superior battery life than Galaxy S7 edge, because it has an 11% greater battery capacity.
