Comparison review
The Google Pixel is slightly better than the Galaxy S7, getting an 80.2 score against 79.5. The Google Pixel design is a bit thicker but a little bit lighter than the Galaxy S7, and they were released with only 7 months difference. Samsung Galaxy S7 features a more vivid display than Google Pixel, because it has a quite larger display, more pixels per screen inch and a better resolution of 1440 x 2560.
Google Pixel features a bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S7, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity. Galaxy S7 features a bit more powerful CPU than Google Pixel. Both have 4 GB of RAM memory and a Quad-Core processing unit.
Samsung Galaxy S7 has a little longer battery lifetime than Google Pixel, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity. Google Pixel and Samsung Galaxy S7 count with quite similar cameras, because although the Google Pixel has a smaller aperture which is not recommended for taking images and video in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rate, it also counts with a bigger sensor which offers a higher photo and video quality and a higher 12.3 MP resolution back camera.
Although Google Pixel is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy S7, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy S7. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy Galaxy S7, giving up some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
