Google Pixel 3 XL has an overall score of 80.7, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy S7's overall score of 79.5. The Google Pixel 3 XL body has the same thickness than Samsung Galaxy S7, but it's somewhat heavier. The Galaxy S7 features a sharper display than Google Pixel 3 XL, because although it has a little smaller display and a little bit lower 1440 x 2560 resolution, it also counts with a little higher screen pixels density.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 has a greater storage for games and applications than Google Pixel 3 XL, because although it has only 32 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 200 GB. The Google Pixel 3 XL features a bit better processor than Galaxy S7, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM, the Google Pixel 3 XL also has more cpu cores.
Google Pixel 3 XL has a bit superior battery duration than Galaxy S7, because it has a 3430mAh battery size. The Google Pixel 3 XL has a camera that's just as good as Galaxy S7's camera, because although the Google Pixel 3 XL has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not nice for low-light captures and a smaller camera sensor offering a worse image quality, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video resolution, it also counts with a more mega pixels camera in the back.
Although Google Pixel 3 XL is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy S7, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy S7. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy Galaxy S7, letting go some specs and features, but you will get the most with your money.
