Comparison review
The Huawei Mate X is much better than Galaxy S7, getting an 89.4 score against 79.5. Although the Huawei Mate X is much newer than Galaxy S7, it is thicker and a lot heavier. Samsung Galaxy S7 has a sharper display than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a way smaller screen and a quite lower resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels, it also counts with a higher screen density.
Huawei Mate X features a little better hardware performance than Galaxy S7, because it has a higher amount of RAM memory and a larger number of cores (and they are faster). The Huawei Mate X has a lot bigger memory to store more games and applications than Galaxy S7, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage.
Huawei Mate X features a really longer battery lifetime than Galaxy S7, because it has a 4500mAh battery size against 3000mAh. The Samsung Galaxy S7 captures a bit better videos and photos than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a much tinier back-facing camera sensor capturing less light and duller colors and a back camera with a lot worse resolution, it also counts with a larger aperture to capture better photos in poorly lited situations.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it costs a lot more than Samsung Galaxy S7, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy S7. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Huawei Mate X, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy S7, resigning some specifications.
