Huawei Mate Xs has an overall score of 91.6, which is much better than the Samsung Galaxy S7's global score of 79.5. The Huawei Mate Xs body is way newer than Samsung Galaxy S7's, but it's much heavier and notably thicker. Huawei Mate Xs counts with just a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy S7, because it has a larger number of cores (and also faster) and 4 GB more RAM memory.
Samsung Galaxy S7 features a better display than Huawei Mate Xs, because although it has a lot smaller display and a little lower 1440 x 2560 resolution, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the display. The Huawei Mate Xs features a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy S7, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not nice for shooting photos or video in low-light situations, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same video quality, the Huawei Mate Xs also counts with a much larger back-facing camera sensor providing a way better image quality and a back-facing camera with a lot higher resolution.
