Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S7 is a bit better than the LG V10, with a score of 79.5 against 78.6. The Samsung Galaxy S7 is a just a little thinner and noticeably lighter cellphone than LG V10, although they were released with only a couple months difference. The Galaxy S7 features a bit better hardware performance than LG V10, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM, the Galaxy S7 also has 3 more cores.
The Galaxy S7 features a bit better display than LG V10, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1440 x 2560px, the Galaxy S7 also counts with a just a little greater display density. The LG V10 features just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy S7, because although it has a smaller camera sensor capturing less light and washed colors and a tinier camera aperture which is not so good for taking photographs or video in low light environments, and they both have the same (4K) video quality, the LG V10 also counts with a back facing camera with much more megapixels and faster video frame rate.
LG V10 features a much greater storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S7, because it has a SD extension slot that supports up to 1,95 TB and 32 GB more internal storage. LG V10's battery lifetime is just as good as Galaxy S7's battery performance.
Even being the best phone in our current comparison, Galaxy S7 is also a bargain compared to others, making it an obvious call.
