The LG Velvet is a little bit better than Galaxy S7, getting an 87.1 score against 79.5. The LG Velvet is a somewhat heavier cellphone than Galaxy S7, but both of them are 0.31inches thick. LG Velvet has a bit superior CPU than Galaxy S7, because it has a higher amount of RAM memory and a higher number of cores (and also faster).

The Samsung Galaxy S7 has a more vivid screen than LG Velvet, because although it has a much smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per screen inch and a slightly better resolution of 1440 x 2560. The LG Velvet features a way bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S7, because it has a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB and 128 GB internal storage capacity.

LG Velvet captures much better videos and photos than Galaxy S7, because although it has a smaller camera aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same video frame rate, the LG Velvet also counts with a lot better 48 mega pixels resolution back camera and a larger back camera sensor which offers a higher photo and video quality.

The LG Velvet features a very superior battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S7, because it has a 43 percent larger battery capacity.

Although LG Velvet is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung Galaxy S7, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy S7. So if you need that extra features, you can buy LG Velvet, else you can save some dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy S7, giving up a couple features and specs.
