Microsoft Surface Duo 2 is slightly better than Galaxy S7, with a general score of 85.3 against 79.5. Even though Microsoft Surface Duo 2 is extremely heavier than the Galaxy S7, it's noticeably thinner and also newer. The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has just a little better performance than Galaxy S7, because it has a higher amount of RAM memory and more cores.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 has a bit sharper screen than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, because although it has a much smaller screen and a bit lower 1440 x 2560 resolution, it also counts with a little bit brighter screen and a higher pixels amount per display inch. The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 counts with a better storage to install games and applications than Galaxy S7, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with more internal storage.
Microsoft Surface Duo 2 counts with a superior battery lifetime than Galaxy S7, because it has a 48% larger battery capacity. Microsoft Surface Duo 2 captures a bit better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S7, and although they both have a 12 megapixels camera in the back, the same aperture and the same video resolution, the Microsoft Surface Duo 2 also has faster 60 fps video frame rate.
