Comparison review

Galaxy A50 is just a bit better than the Galaxy S7, getting an 83.8 score against 79.5. Even though the Galaxy A50 is just a bit heavier than the Galaxy S7, it's just a little bit thinner and a lot newer. The Samsung Galaxy A50 has a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy S7, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Samsung Galaxy A50 also has a higher number of cores (and also faster).

The Galaxy S7 features a brighter screen than Galaxy A50, because although it has a much smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per screen inch and a better resolution of 1440 x 2560px. Samsung Galaxy A50 has a little bit better camera than Galaxy S7, because although it has a smaller sensor shooting worse quality videos and photos, and they both have the same video resolution, the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and a same size diafragm aperture, the Samsung Galaxy A50 also counts with a back facing camera with a way higher 25 megapixels resolution.

The Galaxy A50 features much more storage to install games and applications than Galaxy S7, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity and a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. Galaxy A50 has better battery life than Galaxy S7, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.

Although Samsung Galaxy A50 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Samsung Galaxy S7, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy S7. If you are trying to save some money, you can get the Samsung Galaxy S7, letting go a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
