Galaxy S7 has a general score of 79.5, which is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018)'s overall score of 79.2. The Galaxy S7 design is just a little bit thinner and somewhat lighter than the Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018), despite of the fact that it was released around 22 months before. The Galaxy S7 features a much better looking screen than Galaxy A8 (2018), because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a higher pixel quantity in each inch of screen and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) has a much better memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy S7, because it has 64 GB internal memory and a SD extension slot that holds up to 256 GB. The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) counts with a bit faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy S7, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM, the Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) also has 4 more CPU cores.
The Galaxy S7 features just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018), because although it has a back-facing camera with lot less MP resolution, and they both have a F1.7 aperture, the Galaxy S7 also counts with a lot higher (4K) video definition. Galaxy A8 (2018)'s battery performance is just as good as Galaxy S7's battery life.
