Comparison review

The Galaxy Note8 is just a bit better than the Galaxy S7, with a overall score of 83 against 79.5. Although the Galaxy Note8 is newer than Galaxy S7, it's a lot heavier and just a little bit thicker. Galaxy Note8 features a little faster CPU than Galaxy S7, because it has 2 GB more RAM and a greater number of cores.

The Galaxy S7 has a sharper screen than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a quite lower 1440 x 2560 resolution and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch of screen. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 and Galaxy S7 both feature incredibly similar cameras, and although the Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a tinier back camera sensor, they both have a same resolution camera, the same 3840x2160 video quality, a same size aperture and the same video frame rates.

Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a very superior memory to install games and applications than Galaxy S7, because it has more internal storage capacity and an external SD slot that allows up to 256 GB. Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with just a little better battery life than Galaxy S7, because it has a 3300mAh battery size.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy S7, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy S7. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Note8, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy S7, giving up some specs and features.
