Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy S5 is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy S7, with an 80.8 score against 79.5. Even though Samsung Galaxy S5 is older and a little bit thicker than the Samsung Galaxy S7, it's construction is still a little bit lighter. The Galaxy S5 has a bit sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy S7, although it has a much lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, they both have a screen with the same size and a better pixels number in each inch of screen.

The Galaxy S5 has a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy S7, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have 4 processing cores, the Galaxy S5 also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. The Galaxy S5 has a little bit better camera than Galaxy S7, because although it has a tinier sensor capturing worse quality videos and images and a much smaller camera aperture which is not so good for low light images, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Galaxy S5 also counts with a back camera with way more MP.

Galaxy S7 features slightly more memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S5, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Galaxy S7 also has a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 200 GB. The Galaxy S7 has just a bit longer battery duration than Galaxy S5, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity against 2800mAh.

Although Galaxy S5 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy S7, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy S7. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy S5, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Galaxy S7, resigning a couple features and specs.
