Comparison review
Galaxy S6 Active is slightly better than Galaxy S7, getting an 80.9 score against 79.5. Galaxy S6 Active is a somewhat thicker but a lot lighter cellphone than the Galaxy S7. The Galaxy S6 Active has a greater processing power than Galaxy S7, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM memory, it also counts with a 64-bits CPU, a graphics processing unit and 4 more cores (but slower).
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Active counts with a little sharper display than Samsung Galaxy S7. Both have the same quantity of pixels per inch of screen, an equal 2560 x 1440 resolution and a screen of the same size. Galaxy S7 has a better camera than Galaxy S6 Active, because although it has a camera with a lot worse resolution and a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, it also counts with a bigger sensor taking higher quality photographs and a larger camera aperture for better photos in low light situations.
Galaxy S7 has a much bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy S6 Active. They have equal internal memory. Samsung Galaxy S6 Active has a bit superior battery life than Galaxy S7, because it has a 3500mAh battery size against 3000mAh.
Although Galaxy S6 Active is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy S7, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy S7. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy Samsung Galaxy S7, letting go a couple features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
