Comparison review
Galaxy S6 is slightly better than Galaxy S7, getting a overall score of 87.4 against 79.5. The Galaxy S6 is an older cellphone than the Galaxy S7, but Samsung managed to make it somewhat thinner and a bit lighter anyway. The Samsung Galaxy S6 counts with a more powerful processing unit than Galaxy S7, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM memory, it also counts with a higher number of cores , an extra graphics processor and a 64 bits processor.
Galaxy S6 features a slightly better screen than Samsung Galaxy S7. Both of them have the same pixels density, a screen of the same size and an equal 2560 x 1440px resolution. The Galaxy S6 has a better storage to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S7, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal storage.
The Galaxy S7 counts with just a bit better battery life than Galaxy S6, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity. Samsung Galaxy S6 counts with a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy S7, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for capturing photographs and videos in low-light environments and a tinier back-facing camera sensor capturing less light and dull colors, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Samsung Galaxy S6 also counts with a lot more MP back facing camera.
Although Samsung Galaxy S6 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy S7, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy S7. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy S6, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy S7, resigning a couple features and specs.
