Comparison review

Galaxy S6 Edge has a global score of 85.7, which is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S7's 79.5 global score. The Galaxy S6 Edge body is a little thinner and lighter than Samsung Galaxy S7, despite of the fact that it was released just 11 months before. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a quite superior hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy S7, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics processing unit, a larger number of cores and a 64-bit processing unit.

Galaxy S6 Edge has a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy S7. Both of them have exactly the same resolution of 2560 x 1440px, the same display density and a same size display. Galaxy S6 Edge has a bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S7, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage.

Galaxy S7 counts with just a little better battery life than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 15 percent greater battery size. Galaxy S7 counts with a better camera than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has a back-facing camera with lot less MP resolution and a worse (4K) video resolution, it also counts with a bigger sensor and a bigger aperture to take better low-light images and video.

Although Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy S7, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy S7. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get the Galaxy S7, letting go a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most with your money.
