Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S7 is a bit better than the Galaxy S7 edge, with a score of 79.5 against 78.1. Even though the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge were released only a couple of months apart, the Samsung Galaxy S7 construction is just a little lighter but also just a little bit thicker. The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge's processor is very similar to the processor in Samsung Galaxy S7, both of them have the same number of cores and 4 GB of RAM memory.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 counts with a sharper display than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have the same 1440 x 2560 resolution, the Samsung Galaxy S7 also counts with a just a bit higher pixel density. The Galaxy S7 edge features as much storage for games and applications as the Galaxy S7 one, both of them have exactly the same 32 GB internal memory capacity and a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 200 GB.
Galaxy S7 edge counts with greater battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S7, because it has a 20% larger battery size. The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge and Galaxy S7 both count with very similar cameras, both of them have a 12 megapixels back-facing camera, the same aperture, the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the same 3840x2160 video quality and a 0.4 inches camera sensor.
Even being the best phone in our current comparison, Samsung Galaxy S7 is also very cheap compared to the other devices, which makes it very easy to pick between these devices.
