Comparison review

The Galaxy S8 is a little bit better than the Galaxy S7, having an 81.7 score against 79.5. The Galaxy S8 body has the same thickness than Galaxy S7, but it is a little bit heavier. Galaxy S7 has a bit better display than Galaxy S8, because although it has a little smaller display and a little lower 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution, it also counts with a bit more pixels per display inch.

Samsung Galaxy S8 counts with a much bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy S7, because it has a SD memory slot that admits up to 256 GB and more internal memory. The Galaxy S8 features just a bit better performance than Galaxy S7, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM, the Galaxy S8 also has a larger number of cores (and they are faster).

Galaxy S8 features a battery lifetime that is just as good as the battery life in Galaxy S7. The Galaxy S8's camera is just as good as the camera in Samsung Galaxy S7, and although the Galaxy S8 has a smaller back camera sensor providing a worse image quality, they both have the same video frame rate, the same camera aperture, the same video resolution and the same resolution back facing camera.

Although Samsung Galaxy S8 is a better device, it costs more money than the Galaxy S7, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy S7. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get Galaxy S7, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your savings.
