The Galaxy S7 is just a bit better than the Galaxy XCover 5, with a score of 79.5 against 78.1. The Galaxy S7 is an older cellphone than Galaxy XCover 5, but Samsung managed to build it somewhat lighter and thinner anyway. Galaxy S7 features a much sharper display than Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a much better pixels density and a lot better resolution of 1440 x 2560.
Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 has a much better storage for games and applications than Galaxy S7, because it has an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB and 32 GB more internal storage. Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 has a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy S7, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM memory, the Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 also has more cpu cores (although they are slower).
The Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 features a battery performance that's very similar to the battery life in Galaxy S7. The Galaxy S7 takes a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a much worse 12 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera, it also counts with a much higher video definition and a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better images in poorly lited environments.
