Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a score of 94.6, which is better than the Samsung Galaxy S7's 79.5 global score. Although the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a lot heavier than the Samsung Galaxy S7, it's thinner and a lot newer. Samsung Galaxy S7 counts with a more vivid display than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a lot smaller display and a little bit lower 1440 x 2560px resolution, it also counts with a much better count of pixels per inch of display.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a bit faster processor than Samsung Galaxy S7, because it has a larger amount of RAM and a greater number of cores. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with a superior storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy S7, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage.
Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a much longer battery lifetime than Galaxy S7, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity instead of 3000mAh. Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a slightly better camera than Galaxy S7, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video quality and a back camera with a 12 mega-pixels resolution, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 also counts with higher video frame rate and a way larger sensor providing a much higher image quality.
Although Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy S7, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy S7. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get the Samsung Galaxy S7, and give up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
