Samsung Galaxy S7 has an overall score of 79.5, which is just a bit better than Xperia XZ2 Compact's overall score of 79. Even though Samsung Galaxy S7 is a lot older than the Xperia XZ2 Compact, it's design is a little bit lighter and noticeably thinner. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact counts with a bit better processing power than Galaxy S7, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact also has 4 more cpu cores.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 has a bit sharper display than Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has a better 1440 x 2560 resolution, a just a little more pixels per inch in the screen, a little more brightness and a bit larger display. Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact counts with a much greater memory to install applications and games than Galaxy S7, because it has a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 400 GB and 64 GB internal storage capacity.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact features a little bit better camera than Galaxy S7, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for low light photography and videos, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact also counts with higher 60 fps video frame rate, a camera with way more MP and a larger camera sensor which offers a higher photo and video quality.
