Comparison review

Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has an overall score of 79.8, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy S7's global score of 79.5. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is a somewhat heavier phone than Galaxy S7, but both of them are equally thin. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium features a better display than Galaxy S7, because it has a bit larger screen, a lot better resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and a better count of pixels per inch in the screen.

The Xperia Z5 Premium has as much memory capacity to install games and applications as the Galaxy S7 one, both have equal 32 GB internal memory and a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 200 GB. The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium features a bit better processing power than Galaxy S7, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor and a greater number of cores.

Xperia Z5 Premium has just a bit longer battery lifetime than Galaxy S7, because it has 3430mAh of battery capacity. The Xperia Z5 Premium captures clearer pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy S7, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for shooting photos or videos in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with a much higher resolution back facing camera and a larger back camera sensor capturing better quality photos and videos.

Although Xperia Z5 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy S7, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy S7. If you want to save some money, you can get the Galaxy S7, letting go a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your money.
