The Galaxy S8 Active has a global score of 81.9, which is a little bit better than the Asus ROG Phone 8's 79.5 general score. Even though the Galaxy S8 Active is notably older and thicker than the Asus ROG Phone 8, it's design is still a little bit lighter. Asus ROG Phone 8 has a little bit better looking display than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a much lower screen density and a lot worse resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, it also counts with a larger display.
The Galaxy S8 Active has a much powerful processor than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. The Asus ROG Phone 8 has a superior storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 takes much better photographs and videos than Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture, it also counts with a way more mega-pixels back-facing camera, a much higher video resolution and a lot bigger sensor providing a way better image quality. The Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a much better battery performance than Galaxy S8 Active, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity.
