Huawei Mate 20 Pro has an overall score of 82.9, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy S8 Active's 81.9 global score. Huawei Mate 20 Pro's body is newer, just a little lighter and thinner than the Galaxy S8 Active. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro counts with a bit better processing unit than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also has more RAM memory.
Samsung Galaxy S8 Active has a bit sharper screen than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because although it has a quite lower 1440 x 2960 resolution and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit better number of pixels per screen inch.
