Samsung Galaxy S8 Active is a little bit better than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro, with a overall score of 81.9 against 78.7. Although it's the best in this comparison review, Samsung Galaxy S8 Active is a heavier and extremely thicker device than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro. Galaxy S8 Active counts with a slightly better display than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a quite bigger display, a little bit better pixels density and a slightly higher resolution of 1440 x 2960.
Samsung Galaxy S8 Active counts with a bit more storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory slot that admits up to 256 GB. Huawei Mate 9 Pro features just a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro also has 2 GB more RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 Active has a slightly better camera than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have a same resolution back-facing camera, the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same (4K) video quality, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active also has a way bigger diafragm aperture for better low light photography and videos and a bigger camera sensor which provides a better image and video quality.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a battery performance that is just as good as the Galaxy S8 Active one.
Even being the best phone of the ones we are comparing, the Galaxy S8 Active is also a bargain compared to others, making it an easy decision.
