Comparison review
Galaxy S8 Active has a global score of 81.9, which is just a bit better than LG Q8's 77.2 score. Despite being the best device in our current comparison, Galaxy S8 Active is a notably thicker and way heavier device than LG Q8. The LG Q8 has a little more vivid screen than Galaxy S8 Active, although it has a little smaller display, a just a bit less pixels per screen inch and a quite lower 1440 x 2560 resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 Active features a bit more powerful CPU than LG Q8, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM memory, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active also has a higher number of cores. LG Q8 features just a bit better camera than Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not good for low-light images and videos and a smaller sensor shooting worse quality videos and pictures, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the LG Q8 also counts with a way higher resolution back facing camera.
The LG Q8 has a bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has just 32 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Samsung Galaxy S8 Active features greater battery duration than LG Q8, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.
