Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy S8 Active has a score of 81.9, which is just a bit better than LG V40 ThinQ's 81.2 overall score. Despite being the best device in this review, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active is an older, heavier and notably thicker device than the LG V40 ThinQ. The LG V40 ThinQ counts with a bit superior processor than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the LG V40 ThinQ also has a higher amount of RAM memory.

The Galaxy S8 Active features a bit more vivid screen than LG V40 ThinQ, because although it has a little lower resolution of 1440 x 2960 and a little smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little better pixels count per inch of screen. The LG V40 ThinQ counts with a little bit better camera than Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a smaller sensor taking worse quality videos and photographs, and they both have a same resolution camera in the back and the same video resolution, the LG V40 ThinQ also counts with better video frame rate and a bigger aperture for better low-light photos and video.

The LG V40 ThinQ features a much greater memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S8 Active, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage, the LG V40 ThinQ also has a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 1,95 TB. The Samsung Galaxy S8 Active features improved battery performance than LG V40 ThinQ, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.

Although Galaxy S8 Active is a better device, it costs more than the LG V40 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the LG V40 ThinQ. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get LG V40 ThinQ, giving up some specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
