Galaxy S8 Active has a global score of 81.9, which is just a bit better than Moto G6 Plus's 77.5 general score. Despite being the best phone in this review, the Galaxy S8 Active is a somewhat heavier and extremely thicker phone than the Moto G6 Plus. Samsung Galaxy S8 Active and Moto G6 Plus feature extremely similar processing units, and although the Moto G6 Plus has 2 GB more RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
The Galaxy S8 Active has a bit sharper screen than Motorola Moto G6 Plus, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2960 resolution and a greater pixel quantity per display inch. The Motorola Moto G6 Plus has a camera that's very similar to the Galaxy S8 Active one, and although the Motorola Moto G6 Plus has a tinier sensor taking worse quality pictures and videos, they both have the same video frame rate, the same resolution back camera, a same size camera aperture and the same (4K) video definition.
Galaxy S8 Active features a slightly bigger storage for games and applications than Motorola Moto G6 Plus, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage, the Galaxy S8 Active also has a SD extension slot that allows up to 256 GB. Galaxy S8 Active counts with improved battery performance than Motorola Moto G6 Plus, because it has a 25% larger battery capacity.
