Galaxy S8 Active has a global score of 81.9, which is just a bit better than the Moto G7 Plus's 76.1 general score. Although it's the best cellphone in this comparison review, we must tell that it is also older, thicker and somewhat heavier. The Galaxy S8 Active features a little faster processing unit than Moto G7 Plus. Both of them have 4 GB of RAM memory and 8 processing cores.
The Galaxy S8 Active features a much better looking screen than Motorola Moto G7 Plus, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per inch of screen and a better resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels. The Motorola Moto G7 Plus shoots just a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a tinier back-facing camera sensor taking lower quality videos and pictures, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, a same size aperture and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Motorola Moto G7 Plus also counts with a much more mega-pixels back-facing camera.
The Moto G7 Plus counts with a bit bigger memory for apps and games than Galaxy S8 Active, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Moto G7 Plus also has an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. Galaxy S8 Active has greater battery life than Moto G7 Plus, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
