Samsung Galaxy S8 Active is a little bit better than Galaxy A30, with a score of 81.9 against 79.6. Despite being the best we are comparing here, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active is an older, way thicker and much heavier phone than the Galaxy A30. The Galaxy S8 Active has a more vivid display than Galaxy A30, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a better display density and a higher 1440 x 2960 resolution.
Galaxy A30 has just a bit bigger storage for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage, the Galaxy A30 also has a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB. The Galaxy S8 Active features just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy A30. Both of them have the same RAM amount and the same number of cores.
The Galaxy A30 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Active have incredibly similar battery durations. The Galaxy S8 Active shoots just a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy A30, because although it has a lot worse resolution back-facing camera, and they both have a same size camera aperture, the Galaxy S8 Active also counts with a lot higher 3840x2160 video quality and a bigger back camera sensor providing a better image quality.
