Despite being the best device we are comparing here, Galaxy S8 Active's construction is extremely thicker and way heavier than the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017). The Galaxy S8 Active has a little more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), because it has a greater display pixels density, a bit larger screen and a lot higher resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels.
The Galaxy S8 Active counts with a little bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Galaxy S8 Active also has 1 GB more RAM. Galaxy S8 Active features much more memory for games and applications than Galaxy A5 (2017), and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 256 GB, the Galaxy S8 Active also has 32 GB more internal storage.
