Samsung Galaxy M21 is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, getting a score of 84.1 against 81.9. The Samsung Galaxy M21 body is way newer, a little lighter and somewhat thinner than the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active. Galaxy M21 has a processing unit that is just as good as the Galaxy S8 Active one, both have a 4 GB RAM and the same number of cores.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 Active has a slightly better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy M21, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a higher pixel number in each inch in the display and a better resolution of 1440 x 2960. Samsung Galaxy M21 has a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture, and they both have the same video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy M21 also counts with a back-facing camera with a much higher resolution and a lot larger sensor which offers a lot higher photo and video quality.
The Samsung Galaxy M21 has a little bit better memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy M21 also has a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 512 GB. Galaxy M21 features a way better battery life than Galaxy S8 Active, because it has a 50% greater battery size.
