Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S8 Active is just a bit better than the Galaxy Note 5, with a score of 81.9 against 79.3. Even though Samsung Galaxy S8 Active is newer than the Galaxy Note 5, it is somewhat heavier and incredibly thicker. The Samsung Galaxy S8 Active has a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active also has a larger number of faster cores.
Galaxy Note 5 counts with a bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, although it has a quite lower pixel density, a quite lower resolution of 2560 x 1440px and a little bit smaller display. Samsung Galaxy S8 Active counts with a much better memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active also has an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB.
Galaxy Note 5 shoots a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a tinier back camera sensor and a smaller aperture which is not good for taking images or videos in low-light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy Note 5 also counts with a lot more megapixels back facing camera.
Samsung Galaxy S8 Active counts with improved battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because it has a 33 percent larger battery capacity.
The Galaxy S8 Active not only is the best phones between the ones we are comparing, but it's also by far the cheapest one.
