Comparison review
Galaxy S8 Active is a little bit better than the Galaxy Note4, having a general score of 81.9 against 77.6. The Galaxy S8 Active construction is much newer than Galaxy Note4's, but it is thicker and somewhat heavier. The Galaxy S8 Active counts with a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Note4, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Galaxy S8 Active also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 Active features a little sharper display than Galaxy Note4, because it has a bit higher resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels, a just a little more pixels per screen inch and a little bit larger display. The Galaxy S8 Active features a much bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note4, because it has 32 GB more internal storage and a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 256 GB.
The Galaxy Note4 captures a bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a smaller back-facing camera sensor and a way smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for shooting photographs and/or video in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy Note4 also counts with a back-facing camera with a lot higher 16 mega-pixels resolution.
The Galaxy S8 Active has longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Note4, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
